Industry Judges Select ENR New York Best Projects Winners

October 16, 2026

ENR New York is excited to announce the 2026 group of regional Best Projects winners, with judges selecting 31 projects in 17 main categories in New York and New Jersey.

In addition to those found in the list below, the Best Projects safety and sustainability awardees, which are juried by separate safety and sustainability experts, will be announced on ENR East's website and on the ENR East e-newsletter. Finalists for this year’s ENR New York Project of the Year will also be announced soon.

This year’s winning projects in the main categories will also be profiled in depth in the Nov. 9 print issue of ENR East.

Judges’ selection for this year’s overall Project of the Year from Best Project-level winners listed below will be announced in the Nov. 9 issue of ENR East.

All winners will be recognized at the ENR New York Best Projects awards event on Nov. 17. For more information about the regional event, please visit: https://www.enr.com/enr-best-projects-awards/new-york

The judges were divided into two groups and assigned a group of categories. Projects were evaluated on the ability of the project team to overcome challenges, contribute to the industry and community, and achieve safety and construction and design quality miletones. Due to the large number of entries, we can only cite a fraction of projects submitted each year, so projects that did not win this year can be submitted next year if they are still eligible!

Judges could select any combination of Best Project-level and Award of Merit category winners. In some categories, judges decided not to give an award for the category.

This year’s New York-New Jersey region judges for the main categories were:

Dana Blackwood, general manager at Turner Construction Co.; Patrice Ford, director of communications at Grunley Construction Co. Inc.; Meghan Hennessey, senior estimator at Windover Construction; Ioanna Magiati, partner at AO; Craig Melograno, president of PDM Constructors and Durapods; and Roland Nadar, senior program executive at AECOM.
