This team is a talented mix of engineers, trade supervisors, experienced project managers, military veterans, utility-line workers, business development, and finance professionals. The company’s core leadership team has worked together for over 10 years and has enlisted the industry’s top talent across the country. Karl Miller

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Miller has over 30 years’ experience in engineering and construction of power generation and power delivery services. He joined Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. and became the Managing Partner for Jingoli Power to expand its power delivery and construction services nationwide. Miller is responsible for executive oversight and management of all Jingoli Power programs and projects, budgeting, profit and loss, safety programs, business development and client relationships. Prior to his current role at Jingoli Power, Mr. Miller worked in the power industry managing construction and design/engineering operations. He worked for 15 years at Kenny Construction, a Granite Company as Vice President of Power. He worked for 14 years at Black & Veatch Engineers and held several management positions, including Engineering Manager. While at Black and Veatch, he managed engineering and development of power plants in the U.S., Taiwan and China, and was lead mechanical engineer in the development of a diesel generator facility in El Salvador. Miller has a BSME degree from Kansas State University where he serves on the Engineering Advisory Board and is a registered engineer in eight states. Mr. Miller is a Board Member of the San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC), a non-profit organization with a mission to support and promote the mutual business and other interests of the military, their quality of life, and the defense community in the San Diego area.

Brian Gibson

Mr. Gibson has over 20 years of experience with Engineering, Project and Construction management on Power Generation and Power Delivery Projects across the United States. Brian has directly executed projects for customers under many contracting models from classic EPC to Program/Construction Management. Brian enjoys building and mentoring teams and complex challenging projects. Brian has a BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.

Tom Brauchle

Senior Vice President

Mr. Brauchle is responsible for the development of large linear projects, provides leadership and strategic direction to the Jingoli Power business unit, and provides consulting services to our large customers. Mr. Brauchle has been involved in the management of large scale transmission and distribution projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV for over 45 years in the Northeast Region of the United States. His responsibilities included oversight and execution of all assigned projects within scope, budget and schedule. Brauchle maintained overall responsibility for the safety, direction, development, profitability and growth of transmission and distribution projects. He oversaw engineering, construction, licensing, contract administration, cost estimating, scheduling, and cash flow management; with a total value of over $3 Billion dollars in new and rebuild fossil projects and $2.5 Billion in recent transmission projects.

Phil Schuda

Vice President

Mr. Schuda has over 30 years of experience in engineering, construction and project management of power delivery, operations and dispatch projects throughout the United States and Canada. Phil has managed the engineering and construction for intricate large scale programs while focusing on maintaining reliable service for his clients. Phil has also directed the testing and commissioning aspects of challenging programs, while maintaining a high emphasis on safety for his team and electrical assets. He has been a leader in the industry by utilizing innovative ways to implement projects efficiently and on schedule. Phil has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, an MBA from DePaul University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.

Timothy O’Donnell

Vice President of Construction Operations

Mr. O’Donnell has over 30 years of electrical industry experience with Transmission and Substation projects. Melodie Carli

Melodie Carli

Business Development Director

Melodie ensures a smooth workflow between our current customers and affiliates and leads relationships with strategic partners. Melodie has worked on business development and strategies internationally for over a decade and has built a strategic network of resources key to our success, through continued growth and development of a strong project pipeline. Melodie was the co-founder and President of Akon Lighting where she had the opportunity to work for several years in Africa and South America to provide energy solutions focused on underserved and underprivileged communities. Prior to focusing on renewable energies, Ms. Carli spent over a decade as a producer for AP under the umbrella of major international entities such as the United Nations, where she held roles including, Director of Communication and Producer.

Janette Kessler

Senior Director, Project Finance

Ms. Kessler is responsible for project finance, market strategy, and regulatory affairs at Jingoli Power. Ms. Kessler has held senior executive positions in the energy sector for the past 35 years. She led teams in finance and project development at the AES Corporation for over 10 years. In that role, she was the lead negotiator for an acquisition and project financing of the $400 million NIGEN project in Northern Ireland, which was named the Project Finance deal of the year by Project Finance Magazine. She also served as the lead negotiator for the financing of the $700 million Ib Valley power plant in India. In this capacity, she arranged a syndicate which included Indian financial institutions, the IFC, OPIC, and the Asian Development Bank. As the chair of numerous boards, she has been responsible for developing and implementing strategic direction. Ms. Kessler received an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Renewable Energy from the University of California at Davis.

Adam Heyde

Adam Heyde

Operation Manager – West Coast Operations

Adam Heyde, a veteran of the United States Navy, has over 20 years of project and operations management expertise. A graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power School, Adam went on to earn his Bachelor of Mathematics at Savannah State University. During his Naval career, Adam served at sea, ashore, and spent 42 combat deployed months with Joint Special Operations Command and Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Upon retiring as an Officer from his 21-year tenure with the U.S. Navy in 2019, he became the Operations Manager, West Coast for Jingoli Power. Adam leads the Veteran hiring initiative for Jingoli Power and facilitated the DoD SkillBridge program placing transitioning Active Duty Military Service Members directly into the utility job market. Adam has been a Committee Chair for Alzheimer’s San Diego annual Rides4ALZ event for the last two years and has served as the Secretary for the San Diego Military Advisory Council Foundation Board (SDMACF) for the past year. Adam also represents the Military, Veteran & Families Advisory Council for the San Diego Mayor’s Office. Adam continues to serve all of Jingoli’s West Coast Operations.

Mr. Williams has 18 years of electrical industry experience. Prior to joining Jingoli Power, Mr. Williams was the Environmental Manager for Kenny Construction, where he was responsible for developing and implementing environmental compliance programs in support of various construction projects across North America. Mr. Williams also spent seven years at MidAmerican Energy Company as a Senior Environmental Coordinator. While at MidAmerican Energy Company, he led permitting efforts for various transmission, distribution, natural gas distribution, and power generation projects, including MidAmerican’s Intrepid Wind Farm Project. Mr. Williams has a BS degree in Natural Resources from The Ohio State University and a MS degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.

Steve Pollack

Steve Pollack

Vice President of Construction Operations

Mr. Pollack has over 20 years of electrical industry experience with Transmission and Distribution projects. Prior to joining Jingoli Power, Mr. Pollack was employed by a private electrical contractor in Southern New Jersey, then PECO Energy in Philadelphia PA as a journeyman lineman. He made the transition into management while at the utility, and managed both the Overhead, and Underground Transmission Teams before moving to Kenny Construction as a Project Executive. Through his professional experience, he has gained critical business and leadership skills. As lineman by trade, he understands the many challenges industry workers face, and fosters an inclusive workforce with the safety goal in mind that no one gets hurt. Mr. Pollack holds various electrical certifications and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Specialization in Management from Saint Leo University.

Thomas has overseen multiple transmission projects from initial planning through project closeout. David Tschiniak

David Tschiniak

Senior Estimator

Mr. Tschiniak is a Senior Estimator with Jingoli Power, LLC. He has over 15 years of experience in estimating in the utility industry. He has worked on many wide-ranging projects from high voltage transmission and substations to low voltage distribution. Mr. Tschiniak has led estimates for various contract models including EPC and GC that have ranged up to $2 billion in value. He plays a vital role with Jingoli Power in supporting business development, contract management, and project setup in addition to other supporting roles. Mr. Tschiniak earned his Baccalaureate of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
